My stay at the Riu Palace Kukulkan had its highs and lows. On the positive side, the service was excellent, and the hotel maintained a spotless environment. However, the dining experience was quite disappointing, with many food items lacking quality. Additionally, I encountered issues with my room upon arrival, which affected my first day.
I had a mixed experience at Riu Palace Kukulkan. The beach and grounds were absolutely immaculate, and I found the staff to be awesome and very efficient. But the food quality was a significant letdown, as we both ended up getting food poisoning during our stay, which spoiled a lot of our trip.
My stay at Riu Palace Kukulkan was overall quite enjoyable, with a few drawbacks. The hotel was immaculate, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Addy in the lobby and Juan at the pool bar, who perfectly remembered my drink orders. However, the dining options left a bit to be desired, as the restaurants felt average at best, while the buffet offered a better experience. I would consider returning, possibly to try the Elite side next time.
